1. What attracted you to this piece?I really liked how letters made up the large, main figure. The letters add interest and make the design unique. I also thought the dark colors used in the background make the large figure stand out and become the focus of the work.

I scanned this image from a I.D. magazine from Parkland's Library.
I didn't even notice the letters at first! You're right that is very different and unique. Good job.
ReplyDeleteI love the combination of the flat graphic letters with the photography and its spatial illusion. It's geat how the type-martian casts a believable shadow and how the background spaceship has a realistic motion-blur.
