COOL


1. What attracted you to this piece?
I liked how the glasses became the o's to make the word cool. I thought this play with words was very creative and made a statement. I also liked how everything was in black, I thought this gave the design a professional modern look.

I really liked how simple and clean the packaging was on these products. I also thought the color choices were very well thought out and appealing. The bright, intense colors grab your eye they almost look like food.

1. What attracted you to this piece?
I liked how this design was all white and really had no focal point. Everything in this design is simple and white. The simple design makes the work look clean and to the point.

Dance

1. What attracted you to this piece?
I liked the action and rhythm in this design. The dancing man points to different elements in this work and moves your eye around the design. The man's clothing ties into the design by using the same colors giving the design a simple, classy look and feeling.

1. What attracted you to this piece?
I really liked how simple and to the point it was. The car being vertical draws your eye to the text "move" at the top of the page. The car being the color red always acts as a focal point to viewers eyes against the dark background.

1. What attracted you to this piece?
I really liked the products designs they are all very detailed and eye catching. My favorites are the top bottles that have the citrus look to them. I like the color choices and the way that the fruits are a part of the design. The bottles look professional and well thought out.

1. What attracted you to this piece? I really liked the text and placement of the text on the t-shirts as well as the walls. The text gives a free, random, creative feel that adds to the design. I also like how the text give the works motion and energy.

Decisions

1. What attracted you to this piece?
I really liked how this design looks stressful and busy. I think the way the words "decisions" are in bold and have text within them add to the design and focus on the stressful emotion. I also think the figure adds to the emotion by the way she is posed her arms also lead your eye up to the words at the top of the design.

I really like how the face is the focal point in this work. The dark background draws your eye to the bright face. I also like how the face is looking off the page and giving a direction. I think the white type is a nice element as well.

The Art of Drawing

1. What attracted you to this piece?
I really liked how everything was in black and white but the paint that is coming out of the pipe. The paint draws your eye and is the focal point in the design. I also liked how the text is placed on the right side of the design. I think the text is simple and gets the point across every well.

I found this image in a design book in the Parkland College Library. The book had many examples to choose from but I chose this one because I liked the layout and the overall design.

1. What attracted you to this piece?
I like how detailed this image is and how the dirt or mud on the vehicle is represented by the city or buildings. The buildings look like they are growing on the vehicle. The details of this image made me want to look at everything in this piece.
